Amazing video. And this is note from Bang-Yao Liu in Youtube:

This is my senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design. Where my idea comes from is that every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those post-it notes and deadline. I manipulating the post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion and there are some interactions between real actor and post-its.

Directed by Bang-yao Liu
Music by Röyksopp (http://royksopp.com)
Sound design by Shaun Burdick
Actor: Chun-yao Huang

Kevin was born in Elmira, New York and did most of his growing up in central Pennsylvania. His color photographs consist of common artifacts and scenes from everyday life, which have been rearranged, assembled, and constructed into various forms, patterns, and illustrations.

The images aim to examine the distance between the ‘big picture’ and the ‘little things’ in life—the banalities of our daily lives, and the sublime notions of identity and existence.  His work is about creating order where we expect to find randomness, and also hints that the minutiae all around us is capable of communicating much larger ideas.

David Macaluso has been utilizing used motor oil into paintings as his personal brand of recycling since 2005.

This on going art project is currently part of an exhibition exploring fossil fuel addiction at Athens Institute for Contemporary art and focuses on the critical environmental and energy issues of our time.

I’ve got this from the email, that was Kris sent to me;

Hello my friends,

I’ve just completed my largest sculpture to date titled “Imminent Utopia”. Nearly 11 feet long and six feet in height, this was the most profound experience for myself as an artist and I am sharing it with you. Many months have gone into this piece and I have to admit that these photos won’t give it justice. This work of art will be the major attraction at my solo exhibition in NYC in November at the Joshua Liner Gallery.

Please contact the Joshua Liner Gallery for more information.

Enjoy!

Kris

Damn …he’s a devil in details.

Sent by email, here’s the message from her :

Well Hello Everybody!

I’m happy to say that I am now offering prints in my new shop.
All prints are printed with 8 color archival pigment inks on heavyweight, acid-free cotton rag paper. The paper is a lovely textured matte stock, similar to my original media.

So drop by the new shop and take a look. I plan to offer limited editions directly from my site from time to time so stay tuned. You can always see what’s new by visiting here: Leesa Leva

Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages and works with the help of props such as mirror, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics. (source)

Richard Edson’s pictures are close-ups of toys, shot with incredible attention to lighting, background, color, context, and focal points (boingboing.net)

Terutama sekali pencahayaan.

Here’s Edson discussing the exhibit:
“When I looked at these simple figures through the macro lens I was impressed by the seeming depth and humanity. It didn’t seem possible, but the more I looked the greater the illusion became. They seem like repositories of secret emotion and feelings. But then the more I thought about it the more sense it made. They were imagined and created and worked on by human beings and something remarkable and human was transferred.” (Blog LA Weekly)

Goddamn details.
